1. What this document covers
This policy describes what data the їmo mobile app processes, why it is needed, where data is stored, and what rights you have.
The app helps you keep a food, water, and weight diary, calculates calorie and macro goals, and may provide AI hints. їmo is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian.

Without signing in, the app works locally; sync does not run.
3. How we use data
- Keep your diary and show statistics.
- Calculate daily calorie and macro budgets.
- Sync data across devices after sign-in.
- Update the product catalog.
- Send local water reminders.
- Generate AI hints (when available).
- Show Health Connect activity (with your permission).
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for ads inside їmo.
4. Android permissions
- Camera — barcode and label photo.
- Microphone — voice input.
- Notifications — water reminders.
- Health Connect — read-only active calories.
5. Third-party services
- Supabase — account and sync.
- OpenRouter — AI hints and consultant.
- Google — Google sign-in, on-device speech recognition on some devices, ML Kit OCR on device.
6. Camera, microphone, and Health Connect
- Camera is used only while scanning; video is not sent to our server.
- Microphone is used only during voice input.
- Health Connect: read-only active calories; data is not uploaded to Supabase.
7. Children
The app is for users aged 14 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.
8. Your rights
- View and edit data in the app.
- Export the product catalog (JSON).
- Sign out — local data stays on the phone.
- Request deletion of cloud data.
Data deletion: open an issue in this repository with the subject “Data deletion” and include your account email.
9. Security and retention
Cloud requests use HTTPS. The local database is stored in the Android app’s protected storage. Data in Supabase is kept while the account remains active.
10. Changes
The current version is always on this page. For material changes we will try to notify you via the Google Play update notes or in the app.
